Andeana Hats to Host Artisan Pop Up Event at the Row in DTLA

Los Angeles, California: Sustainable fashion hat company Andeana Hats, is introducing a Global Impact Marketplace in Downtown LA’s The Row. Partnering with Novica, Verte Luxe and Awamaki to offer goods from global and local artisans that help support vanishing arts and cultures, and eradicate poverty through empowerment and entrepreneurship, the marketplace will be open from May 20 – June 13, 2019.

Andeana will be hosting a series of impact travel and fashion events, influencer photo shoots, panel discussions, pop-ups, networking cocktail hours, among others. There will be many events with music, storytelling and podcasts with curated influencers who promote collaboration, connection and intention. Exclusive events include:

1,500 sq foot Global Impact Pop-Up featuring handmade sustainable artisan products from Peru (including Andeana handmade intention hats, Awamaki’s knits and Novica’s curated global artisan catalog) as well as local artisans from the Verte Luxe Collective.

Andeana Hats was created to empower women, help support global artisans to continue their vanishing crafts, and enable them to support themselves and lead their communities out of poverty. Andeana Hats has partnered with Awamaki, a non-profit organization based in Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley, who work closely together with multiple indigenous communities in the remote mountains of Peru to empower women and connect them to global market places like Novica in Association with National Geographic. Andeana has been featured in Forbes for best woman-owned sustainable travel companies in 2019.
